Message to all future “Barefoot” customers: In the past I have always asked about the quality of horses being trimmed. I do not expect or foresee any problems nor do I anticipate them but always like to know ahead of time about your horses behavior. Only you know your horse and in the hour or less that I spend with him/her I do not wish to ground break any horse to stand and behave. A Farrier’s job is dangerous and hard enough without second guessing what could happen during trimming or shoeing. Make our job easy by giving your horse the discipline and manners to endure the time spent with them. That is all we ask. I have never picked or started a fight with an animal in 49 years of doing this business. I pride myself on doing the best job I can but it is NOT without help from each one of you!
If a horse chooses to misbehave and not stand I will not challenge and discontinue working on them. Please understand that I am leaving your horse in the same condition I find them. I will not be the Farrier that punishes them in any way.
Thank you for being a responsible and courteous horse owner…your horse will love you as much as your Farrier!
God Bless you all!
